Glynis German Celebrant

We really could not recommend Glynis enough! From day one, we knew Glynis would be the celebrant for us. Her energy is so positive and uplifting. Glynis delivered the most beautiful ceremony for us. She was charming, considerate, thoughtful and funny. She summed up our love story fantastically. Glynis was professional from day one. We had several zooms and meetings to the lead up to our wedding. She really made the time/effort to get to know us and our families. What I also loved about Glynis is she really got to know what marriage meant to us, our values as a couple and our aspirations, our ceremony was so personalised. I love what she wrote about us, she has even given it to us in a book to remember it, and we will forever cherish that. Unfortunately, my husband’s grandmother died two days before our wedding. We told Glynis this as we wanted to mention her as she was such a huge part of our lives. Glynis showed so much compassion and empathy for our situation. From our brief chats about her, she wrote a lovely paragraph for her. It really touched us during the ceremony. Unfortunately, we had a bit of rain during our ceremony, which was definitely not in the script/forecast! But this was not an issue for Glynis, she made light work of this, and we carried on. She really did put us and our guests at ease. Glynis is honestly such a lovely person, inside and out, she really understands love, family and marriage. We cannot thank Glynis enough for the efforts she put into our wedding. We also loved our meetings with her and listening to her funny stories!

Glynis will always hold a special place in our hearts as the celebrant at our small and intimate wedding this year. She not only made the preparation for the ceremony fun and involved for us, she created such a beautiful and personal ceremony which had everyone in both floods of tears and fits of laughter. From our first meeting she made us feel at ease and we felt as though she was part of the family right away. There really is no celebrant like her, she’s the best!

Glynis was our wedding celebrant and created the most beautiful, personal ceremony for us. We had a very small wedding with immediate family and Glynis led a bilingual ceremony in both Spanish and English so that everyone could understand everything. She helped created an intimate atmosphere and a day full of love. I can't recommend Glynis enough!

We had the most amazing experience with Glynis. Glynis was our celebrant for our wedding in Cala D’or, Mallorca, June 2023. This fabulous woman made our ceremony, every detail of our relationship was incorporated into the reading that she did. We felt like we had known Glynis for years - our dog and cat even got a mention 😆 The humour was amazing we all got a laugh and a tear, at all the right timing, we really did feel the love from her and so did all of our friends and family, we all still talk about how she made our day. The heart and soul Glynis puts into a wedding is what makes it, we cannot thank you enough. Everyone needs a Glynis on their big day!!
