The only positive was Daniel and his colleague were quick to start the process of conveyance but as soon as the signing of the deed was done everything else was done painfully slow.

He ignored my boyfriends emails and calls for 2 months while we were out of the country. Out of sight out of mind I suppose. 😞

The transferring of utilities took months. Nothing in the case of our conveyance was complicated but 5 months later my boyfriend had to call him to remind him yet again to finish the final parts of conveyance. And he only answered because he called from a different number. He typically ignored calls.

He did apologize after this. However, we’ve worked with a few people now in Spain regarding various legal matters and this process was the least satisfactory.

For example, my gestoría who I paid a fraction of this price is far more communicative and pleasant to work with than these lawyers. We wouldn’t work with them again for future real estate matters.

My name’s Patricia and I’m a Swiss citizen working in the UK. I recently purchased a property in Torrevieja and consulted with CNG Lawyers to assist with the legal side. I suspected it was going to be complicated as I am based abroad and couldn’t be present for signing the deeds etc. However, Daniel, my lawyer at CNG made everything superbly simple and efficient! He’s so calm and knowledgeable and I felt completely safe throughout the whole process. I’m very grateful to him. He also assisted my good friend with an apartment purchase in May and it was also a fantastic smooth transaction Daniel’s English is impeccable and he understands the different cultural nuances in house buying
