Born and raised in The Hague, I honed my skills at the University of Delft, graduating with honors while exploring the profound theme of creating dignified spaces for death and dying in contemporary society. Since establishing my studio in Barcelona in the late nineties, I have successfully completed over 130 projects across Barcelona and Girona, each reflecting a unique blend of geometric precision and cultural sensitivity. Collaboration is at the heart of our practice; I have partnered with the esteemed group DKHH to deliver significant cultural buildings throughout Catalonia. Our work has garnered recognition from prestigious institutions, including nominations for the FAD and AJAC awards, and has been showcased in the permanent exhibition 'Dutch Architects Abroad' at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.
